How crazy that 2019 is over and we are on to a new DECADE?! I hope you all had a great year and holiday season. We would love to hear some of your New Year’s Resolutions, so leave us a comment below! In 2020, we aim to continue growing and expanding our managing reach by adding more luxury homes to our plate. We always try our best to create the best guest experience, and hope to make it even better in the coming year. Featured Home of the Month:

The Rock is a beautiful oceanfront home located in Seal Rock. It can sleep up to 16 people, with 4 of the main bedrooms boasting ocean views to wake up to. It has an enormous, open kitchen perfect for feeding the masses and includes 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, and 2 sinks! Restaurant Highlight: PACIFIC SOURDOUGH

Pacific Sourdough, located in Waldport next to the Alsea Bay, is a local artisan bakery devoted to creating quality and delicious breads and pastries. They create natural leavened sourdough breads, delicious coffee-house pastries and specialty desserts, all made from scratch. All of the breads and pastries are handmade in small batches. They contain no preservatives, artificial ingredients or hydrogenated oils. They use sustainable northwest grown wheat flours, organic nuts, spices, and seeds, locally made butter and the best fruits of the season.

Update: The OPI Team worked hard during the month of December, going through all of the homes and double checking items and maintenance needs. We did save some time for fun on the beach though, so here are a few good photos :


RECIPE – RAVIOLI IN TRUFFLE CREAM SAUCE

Maggie Peterson

Ingredients:

2 T butter

1/2 C heavy cream

1-2 T truffle oil or truffle olive oil

1/4 C grated parmesan

8 oz of ravioli (your choice, but cheese is best)

sprinkle of green onion (garnish)

Preparation:

  1. Add butter to pan on low/medium heat
  2. Add heavy cream, then truffle oil
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes
  4. Add parmesan and stir to combine
  5. Add cooked ravioli along with 1-2 T of pasta water
  6. Simmer for another minute and then season with salt and pepper. Top with green onion and more parmesan
