Believed to be the oldest standing structure in Newport, and the only Oregon lighthouse with the living quarters still attached. Memorial Day- End of September the hours are 11 AM - 4 PM, October - Memorial Day hours are 12 PM - 4 PM. November - February closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

The 93 foot tower sits on a narrow strip of land that juts nearly a mile into the Pacific Ocean. It took entire year to construct and over 370,000 bricks to construct Oregon’s tallest lighthouse, finished in 1872.
